Nestled on the edge of the North York Moors, Deepdale Farm was the picturesque location where Jess & Ollie tied the knot - for the second time (with each other of course) - and on this occasion, the wonderful couple were able to share their celebrations with a host of their closest friends and family! After having to reschedule their wedding numerous times, Jess & Ollie chose to get married at a registry office, but that wasn’t going to stop this fun-loving pair from sealing the deal almost a year later in true fashion - surrounded by their nearest and dearest, and bringing friends and family from near and far to share their special day.

Being a DIY wedding, Jess - with her incredible organisation skills and creative vision, and Ollie - using his great taste in music and good beer, invested A LOT of time and energy, bringing together creative elements and ideas, and getting many dear friends and family involved to help pull off this beautiful celebration.

The day started off with a relaxed morning as Jess and her lovely bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done by the talented Julia Jeckell and Alice Lindsay in the barn, and finished getting all dressed up with a bit of Prosecco in the adorable little chalet a stone throw away from the ceremony barn, whilst Ollie and the boys got suited and booted over in the Tipi accommodation in the field next door, enjoying a few beers before greeting the guests.

The ceremony barn was decorated with fairy lights and beautiful flowers, home grown by Jess’ Mum and arranged by Mum and Sister-in-Law, as they lined the way for Jess as she walked down the aisle towards Ollie, who was smiling cheek to cheek at the sight of his gorgeous bride. Jess truly did look stunning in her boho style blush pink dress, and her incredible bouquet - made by Kate Mell Flowers, which incorporated a lovely mix of pampas grasses, roses and wildflowers, really completed the look.

After a beautifully crafted ceremony, the newly-weds left the barn in a shower of Prosecco and joyful cheers, quickly followed by a colourful flurry of home-grown and dried confetti.

As the Prosecco flowed, many loving hugs were shared while a myriad of acoustic gems were played before guests took their seats to enjoy a delicious Mexican feast, provided by El Kantina. The flutes were then filled, and glasses were raised high during the hilarious and caring words of a ‘proper Yorkshire speech’ by Jess’ Dad, which was closely followed by the Groom, the two best men, and finally our lovely bride herself. It was so clear to see the close-knit relationships that were shared between their families and their friends through the many chants, shared jokes and comedic teasing throughout the duration of the speeches, the laughter was incredibly contagious.

Jess & Ollie were treated to a golden sunset, allowing for some dreamy golden hour portraits of the loved-up couple - a wedding photographers dream! This lead on perfectly to the first dance that was soon joined in by the rest of the guests, lead by the awesome band Live-Wires ensuring a packed dance floor for the rest of the night, fuelled by delicious brownies and bakes by Absolutely Caked, and a consistent flow of wood fired pizza’s from the guys at Knead & Feed.

We loved capturing this special day for Jess & Ollie and were inspired by their love of life - we wish them all the very best for whatever their future holds!
