Charlotte and Adam exchanged their vows after 7 years of being together, at the gorgeous Waterton Park Hotel. Their wedding day was relaxed, elegant and full of surprises!
As the morning's festivities were due to begin, the sound of the bagpipes welcomed guests as they crossed the bridge over the lake, which lead them to be greeted by the Groom, Adam, and his groomsmen, who all looked very dapper in their navy and sand three piece suits.
The ceremony room was beautifully decorated with white blossom trees and hanging candles, and with lanterns and white rose petals lining the aisle.
The bridesmaids and brides-man looked absolutely fabulous in their navy blue, full-length dresses and three-piece suit. And of course, our stunning Bride, Charlotte, well.. what can I say?! Charlotte looked absolutely drop dead gorgeous in her luxurious white wedding dress which styled a lavishly layered skirt and beautifully beaded detail top. Her bouquet was filled with white roses and gypsophila with an extra special charm with a photo of loved ones who could not be there to celebrate with them.
Adam's face said it all when he saw his Bride walking towards him, and once Charlotte's dad gave Adam his daughters hands to hold, they were ready to exchange rings, say their vows to one another, and share their first kiss as husband and wife. It was a lovely ceremony, filled with love and smiles, but the celebrations had only just begun!
Adam and Charlotte lead the way up the aisle hand in hand, ready to greet their guests as the all new Mr & Mrs Wilson. The bagpipes once again resounded as drinks and canapés were served outside in the lovely Waterton Hotel Grounds. While the sun was shining and guests were mingling, we took the opportunity to take some group photographs in front of the gorgeous landscapes that surrounded the venue.
Shortly after, the time came for guests to head inside for the wedding breakfast and find their seats, where the caterers had been cooking up a delicious three course meal for everyone to enjoy. But what the guests didn't know, was that they were in for a big surprise. After their main course had been cleared away, one of the "waiters" announced that it was another "waiters" last day working there and was auditioning for The Voice, and insisted that he sang them all a song. The guests all cheered as he sang his heart out to them, but much to the guests surprise, this was no unplanned sing-song, instead, the two waiters revealed themselves as Adam and Charlotte's surprise singing waiters, and went on to deliver an epic show! Every guest was on their feet dancing and waving napkins in the air, it was truly something!
Following all the excitement during the wedding breakfast, it was time for the speeches from the father of the bride, the groom himself, and the best man. Each of them gave really great speeches incorporating just the right amount of emotion, humour, and storytelling - well done guys!
Evening guests began to arrive for the rest of the nights festivities, but as golden hour casted it's gorgeous golden light across the grounds of the venue, I took Adam and Charlotte away for a few moments to capture some portraits of just the two of them together.
Charlotte and Adam kicked off the dancing with their first dance to 'Everywhere' by Fleetwood Mac, and before long, everybody was invited to join them, filling the dance floor with funky moves and laughter.
