Style and Personality

It’s important that you like the stylistic approach of your wedding photographer, does their editing style align with how you’d like your images to look, and do their images portray the essence of the day as you’d like it to be captured. Ask to see some of your potential photographer’s full gallery’s of weddings they’ve recently photographed.

When it comes to photography, my style is not just about documenting the day but capturing the emotions, details, and atmosphere that make your wedding uniquely yours.

As a wedding photographer in Yorkshire, my approach is warm, candid, and unobtrusive, ensuring that your personality shines through in every photograph. I'm not the biggest fan of overly posed shots; instead, I aim to capture the genuine moments, the laughter, and the shared glances that truly tell your story!

Chatty and Friendly

Your photographer will be one of the few wedding suppliers that will be with you throughout the duration of your day, so it’s super important that you get on really well with your photographer and that they are an uplifting presence. Your wedding day is a celebration, and I believe in being more than just your wedding photographer...

I'm the friendly face that helps set the tone, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable.

Your photographer will be with you for the most part of your day, from the morning bridal preparations as you get ready for the day ahead, until the evening celebrations. I'm not just there to capture beautiful images; I’ll be there for you to help keep you at ease, to help things stick to schedule so you don’t have to, I'm there to share in the joy of your day, to be a friendly face to your guests, and to become a seamless part of your celebration – without being a total disturbance – don’t worry!

Ensuring that I am myself and friendly is important as it allows couples to feel relaxed in my presence which ultimately leads to relaxed and joyful images!

Shared Values

One of the most important aspects of my work is aligning with the values of the couples I photograph.

If you value genuine connections, a sense of fun, and cherishing the details that make your love one-of-a-kind, then we're on the same wavelength.

I'm passionate about capturing weddings that reflect the couple's values and personality, creating timeless memories that resonate with who you are!

Getting to Know You

As a wedding photographer in Yorkshire, I don't just show up on your wedding day; I invest time in getting to know you as a couple.

Understanding your story, your personalities, and your vision for the day allows me to capture moments that are truly meaningful.

The better I know you, the more authentic and personal your wedding photographs become – I will capture your quirks, the details and all of the fun in between.

I love to meet up with my couple’s before the big day either over a video call or in person, this really helps with getting to know each other which will ultimately help you feel more at ease on your wedding day, as I’ll be a familiar, friendly face!

Experience and Expertise

It’s always good to know that your photographer has a little experience under their belt.

With over 10 years of experience photographing weddings, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure that every moment is captured beautifully.

My dedication to continuous learning in the ever-evolving world of photography ensures that your images are crafted with skill and creativity.

Beyond Photography

Another interesting thing to consider when choosing your wedding photographer, is to see whether they offer Videography services as well as Photography, this can really help when it comes to budgeting for your wedding, as this may discount the cost slightly as an alternative to hiring a separate videographer.

In addition to photography, I offer wedding videography packages to provide a comprehensive storytelling experience.

My commitment extends to creating beautiful wedding album designs and client galleries, making it easy for you to share your cherished memories with friends and family.

Wedding films provide a dynamic and cinematic portrayal of your wedding, offering a living, breathing memory that can be relived.

These films not only document the exchange of vows and the celebration but also encapsulate the subtle moments, expressions, and interactions that may go unnoticed in the hustle and bustle of the day!

Golden Hour Portraits

As a wedding photographer in Yorkshire, I am a firm believer in the magic of golden hour portraits.

Capturing the soft, warm light of sunset creates a romantic and enduring quality in your photographs – it is really hard to beat such a stunning time of day!

It's a moment to steal away from the celebration and create images that will take your breath away and enhance your natural beauty. If we are lucky to have the perfect golden hour we will be sure to make the most of it for your relaxed couples portraits.

Children and Dogs at Weddings

I love the spontaneity and joy that children and dogs bring to weddings.

Their presence often adds an extra layer of charm to the day, and I'm more than happy to capture those candid moments of laughter, play, and love.

I love weddings that are full of the love of families and bringing everyone together (yes, including your furry friends!) – they are all part of your story and deserve to be in every image.

I, myself, being a dog mama couldn’t imaging leaving my fur baby at home, and not including them in some super cute portraits, and I have a lot of experience photographing pooches at weddings!
